I came across this artist last week, but, while he's new to me, I'm apparently already late jumping on the bandwagon. His name is Mika and there are many people who are already predicting that 2007 will be The Year Of Mika. Of course, he's making his debut in UK, where I believe his style will be more welcomed than it will be if he gets a stateside release. His style is an amalgamation of dance, pop and electronic with an 80's vibe (at least on some of the songs I've heard). His album, Life In Cartoon Motion, isn't due in stores until March 2007, but his first single, Grace Kelly, will be released in a few days. Please visit Mika's Site to listen to samples of his album.
