R.I.P.

Alice Ghostley, best known for her work on Bewitched and Designing Women, passed away yesterday. The Tony award winner (best featured actress for her role in 'The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window' in 1965) and Emmy nominee (for 'Designing Women') had been suffering from colon cancer, but I'll always remember her for the countless hours of laughter she brought in the form of Bernice on Designing Women. May she rest in peace.

Favourite quote from her: "Black man!! Black Man, where have you gone to? Black Man!! Black Man . . . where did you go? . . ." (she'd sing this as Bernice about Anthony on Designing Women)

Bernice is STILL one of the funniest characters in the history of television!
