Honestly, how could anyone have expected a good performance from Britney Spears at last night's MTV VMA Awards? Yeah, her new single, Gimme More, was a nice surprise; however, anyone can sound good with today's technology. What it wasn't capable of fixing is the mess that Britney is in reality. This is a prime example of what excessive drug use can do to you.

Honestly, how could anyone have expected a good performance from Britney Spears at last night's MTV VMA Awards?
