You may remember Nada Surf from their early 90s smash Popular. They haven't been absent from the music scene, but they have been under the mainstream radar ever since they broke their contract with Elektra (the record company, not the god-forsaken comic-book based film starring Jennifer Garner) in the later half of the same decade. They've resurfaced on my radar now that I'm delving more into the indie scene, though. Their new album, Lucky, hit stores and iTunes yesterday.
