I just love it when people don't know when to shut-up. Natalie Cole complained that Amy Winehouse did not deserve any of the five Grammys that she won last night due to her personal problems. According to Natalie, "[Amy] needs to get her life together first, and then get the awards later."Hmmm...seems to me she didn't have any problem accepting the same Best New Artist award back in 1975 when she had her own drug problems. She was even arrested for possession of heroin.
Her hypocrisy aside, if you were to deny anyone an award until they got their shit together, then there would be no awards to hand out. Besides, it's not like winning a Grammy is going to have a negative effect on her life in the short-term. It can really only help at this point. I'm not saying it's going to "cure" her of her drug and alcohol addictions, mind you, but maybe it'll be one of the things that keeps her on track to living and staying healthier.
To sum it up - keep yo mouth shut Natalie!
