My mother sent me an e-mail this morning requesting that I submit, by Saturday, a list of things that I would like to do during our trip to NYC this October. This pretty much gives me an idea of what to expect. For starters, I expect a lot of arguing and bickering. It's family, so that's pretty much already a given.
When I go to NYC, I prefer to avoid touristy crap and blend in with the locals as best I can. That isn't going to happen this time around. Oh well, it's well worth it considering this is practically an all expenses paid trip*.
*You'll notice I refrain from using the word vacation. Vacations, to me, do not include family...for obvious reasons.
