Wallis Bird is an Irish singer-songwriter that is often compared to PJ Harvey and Fiona Apple. Her debut, Spoons, is available as import only stateside. While the album is enjoyable, I don't recommend picking up the physical CD if you live in the US due to the price(not worth the import only price of $30). You're much better off using the iTunes link below to download it for just $9.99.Interesting tidbit: Wallis was involved in a lawnmower accident that resulted in the loss of the fingers on her left hand. Four of them were reattached, but, since she's left-handed, she now plays with her right hand and the guitar upside down.
